The purpose of Sigma Kappa is to provide women lifelong opportunities and support for social, intellectual, and spiritual development by bringing women together to positively impact our communities. Sigma Kappa Sorority was founded in 1874 at Colby College in Waterville, Maine and has been at IUS since 1973. There are now more than 115 active collegiate chapters. We are a close knit group of women who are not only sisters, but also friends.
