Better Baby Care

Indiana Community Childcare Initiative Grant funds are used to purchase 500 Better Baby Care Folders from The Indiana Association of Child Care Resource and Referral. Folders contain infant/toddler developmental, safety and childcare information, as well as child abuse prevention information. The folders are distributed to parents and childcare providers through The Early Childhood Connection, Washington County's lending library. Better Baby Care trainings are held every other month at The Early Childhood Connection. Additional Washington County partners for this project are The Washington County Prevent Child Abuse Council and The Salem Exchange Club.
