Please credit any ideas borrowed to the author.

OVERVIEW

The course project is of your choosing but there are a few ground rules on what the project should minimally include:

1. color and shading
2. interaction (hey, this is a course on interactive graphics)
3. textures (even if gratuitous)
4. perspective

APPROVAL

Send an email to  with subject: YOUR NAME: B481 and Project and details of your idea(s) before getting too involved with a project.

PRESENTATION

December 4. A short, 15 minute, presentation explaining the project and demonstrating the results. Your explanation should include an implementation overview and problems encountered and their resolution.

Please verify that your project runs on the instructor station in LF105 (Visual Studio 2008 is installed) or bring your own system to connect to an external VGA compatible projector.

EMAIL and UPLOAD

1. To  with subject: YOUR NAME: B481 and Project.
2. Place in the OnCourse drop-box a zip file with name Project.zip containing:
   • all source code files (include executable); if using Visual Studio, include the project definition,
   • explanation of project and instructions on executing in file named readme,
   • list of references used in the project; include links to reference matter or software.
