HOMEWORK WILL BE COLLECTED EVERY MONDAY.  HOMEWORK WILL NOT BE

ACCEPTED IF TURNED IN LATE!    

THERE WILL BE A QUIZ EVERY WEDNESDAY UNLESS  THERE IS A TEST THAT WEEK.

 THERE ARE NO MAKE UPS ON QUIZZES –    THE LOWEST TWO QUIZ SCORES WILL BE DROPPED.

 

LAST DAY TO WITHDRAW WITHOUT PENALTY IS FRIDAY March 17, 2006.

 You may use a calculator for tests and quizzes.  A scientific calculator is required.

 

Classroom Etiquette:  Please be respectful and courteous to your classmates and instructor.  Pleases do not arrive

   late, leave early or leave for a period of  time other than for an emergency.  No cell phones or pagers are to be on.

 

 

 

 

Make Up Policy - Make ups will be given if there is a legitimate excuse with documentation.

ONCOURSE: My goal is for all test grades to be posted within one day after the test.  At that time all homework and quiz averages will be updated.

 

 GOALS:  By the end of this course, students should be able to: Factor polynomials and solve equations by factoring, perform operations on rational, exponential, and radical expressions, solve problems and applications involving rational, radical, and quadratic equations, determine distance, slope, and equations of lines, graph linear and quadratic equations.

 

             If you fail the final exam (less than 60%), the maximum course grade possible is a “C”.
