This is a picture of myself. I'm a 21-year-old journalism student at IU Southeast and I will be graduating in August. I love reading, writing, animals, and photography. I hope to work for People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals after I graduate. I'm currently working at a Public Relations internship at Baptist Hospital East. I'm also an editor for the IUS newspaper, The Horizon. I don't have much free time but when I do, I enjoy hanging out my fiance, John, and my dog.
This is me and my fiance, John. We're getting married on September 1st on St.Thomas in the U.S. Virgin Islands. We got engaged in June and have been very busy with wedding planning and looking for a house to live in once we get married. John graduated from the University of Louisville's Speed School with a Master's Degree in Civil Engineering in May 2006. He will of course be the main money earner in the family since I'm going into journalism.
This is my favorite picture of John. I took it as part of a photojounalism class project.
This is my sister helping me try on wedding dresses. I did not get that dress, though, because it weighed about 100 pounds and we never could figure out how to lace up the back.
This is me and my dog, Rileigh. She's a Chihuahua/Pomeranian mix and I've had her for about a year and a half. She goes everywhere with me and is basically my child. She has more toys than I think I had as a kid and a better wardrobe than me. And yes, I do carry her around in a purse. I'm that kind of dog owner.
