Traveling the Hispanic World

Description:  Students will be given a different Spanish speaking country to research and create a brochure about the country.  Students will include country name, pictures, and facts about the country.

 

Steps:

 

  1. Assign a country to each student.
  2. Go to the library and research using books, encyclopedias, and the Internet.
  3. Use Microsoft Publisher to create a brochure of their country.  This should include facts about the country such as population, size, location, capital, and at least 5 other interesting facts.
  4. Present their brochure to the class relating the information that they have learned about their country.  Students will be expected to take notes on others presentations.
  5. At the end of all the presentations, there will be a short quiz over the countries based on the presentations.  This would include information such as capitals and location of countries.
