SAN FRANCISCO TRIP - 2007

What we did and where we went in San Francisco (2007)

Friday, May 25, 2007 - 5th year visiting San Francisco together!

First, we went to Japantown where we had lunch and walked around the mall. Purelovely had been there before but wasn't able to see much of the mall, since we got there at bad times in the previous years. Purelovely was very bad and bought a DVD set of Kaneshiro Takeshi in "God, Give Me More Time." She has been a fangirl about it ever since. We went to a music store where Purelovely saw lots of Gackt books and had to leave or she was going to buy even more stuff. ^^; We ended our trip to Japantown by getting some strawberry cake and other sweets to take back to the hotel with us. The strawberry cake is very good. ^_^

After Japantown, we drove to Pier 39 so we could see the sea lions again this year. Purelovely loves them. When we got there, a band was performing some Journey songs. They were really good. A group of people were dancing and we realized they were dancing to keep warm because it was so cold this year! It was very cloudy, too. We couldn't even see the Golden Gate Bridge because of the fog. Purelovely got so cold that she had to buy a fleece jacket which she wears all the time now since it's so warm.

It was getting dark and the fog seemed to be getting worse so we decided to head out to see if we could at least drive through the Castro district since we had never been yet. We ended up a little lost and started to go home instead. Next year, we'll go to the Castro.

It was the longest trip to San Francisco we ever had so it was really fun. We need to get a hotel room in San Francisco one of these years and make a weekend trip of it or something.
