Mas Cordoba

These are more pictures in and around Cordoba. Zulma (my colleague at the Universidad de Cordoba) arranged for us to spend three nights at a resort called the Vaquerias, about 2 hours north of Cordoba in the sierras. It was originally an estancia (the name means 'cow place') but then was a resort and is now owned by the university. It was really old fashion, very simple but really a neat place.

The first night we looked out the window and saw a fox:

We did two very nice day hikes from here into the surrounding sierras.

Zulma's husband, Gringo use to run an ambulance service and they still have the two ambulances. We didn't really drive it but we did get to ride in it several times.

Zulma and Gringo (and us, in case you forgot what we look like).
