| Sept. 7 | We have started talking about chapter 2. I think we can probably do all the problems in chapter two. |
| Sept. 15 | I have decided to reduce the number of problems for this chapter. Do the following for sure: 1, 2, 3, 6, 9, 12, 13, 14, 17, 19, 21, 26, 28, 31, 33. In addition, pick 5 other questions from the remaining problems and do those. |
| Sept. 21 | We may start chapter 3. These problems for sure: 2, 7, 12, 13, 15, 18, 21, 23, 28, 31, 32, 35, 38, 41, 42. Turn in Oct. 6 |

| Nov. 9 | We finished chapter 7. We voted to do problems 1, 5, 14, 22, 24, 25, 28, 35, 46, 48 and really, you ought to do 51. It has the merit of at least being postive instead of gloom and doom. You can log into the ius library site and get the text for 51 online through the Ebscohost. Due date is Thurs. Nov. 19. |
| Nov.16 | Chapter 8. Do any 8 questions in Chapter 8, due last day of class. Turn in (email) what you want to do your project on. |
| Nov. 23 | Thanksgiving break. |
