Physics P201 (Dr. Forinash)
Last updated 8/13/01
General Information about P201
In the first semester of general physics we will cover the first three
parts of the text with the omission of a few subsections which will be
announced later. Homework problems will be suggested and solutions will
be on reserve in the library. You are encouraged to work the homework problems
and to attempt them before looking at the solutions. The only way to learn
physics is to do problems. Tests will consist of problems similar to those
assigned as homework or worked as examples in class. You will not pass
this course unless you practice solving problems before the test. Attendance
at laboratory meetings is required.
