NOTE:

• Some of the material below is quite old so I cannot vouch that all of the links are still valid.

Free software by Ray Wisman, Chris Lang and myself (well, mostly Ray and Chris):

• Tcp2Serial: Use Excel to access a hardware device (e.g. LabPro) attached to a local or remote serial port (see 4, 5, 6, 8, 10, 11 and 12 below for an explanation).
• Tcp2Sound: Use Excel to record and play sounds from a local or remote sound card (see 13 below for an explanation).
• Wavelet Transform: Make a time vs frequency graph of sound (or other) data using the Continuous Morlet Wavelet Transform.
• A Fast Fourier Transform for your cell phone (works on some phones).
