Publication Schedule
All advertising material must be in one week prior to the publication date.
The
Horizon, a student-produced newspaper at Indiana University Southeast, is
published weekly during the fall and spring semesters. The Horizon is
distributed free throughout the IU Southeast campus on Monday mornings. IU
Southeast has a student population of more than 6,000 students. The Horizon

Mechanical specifications: The
Horizon is published in a six column by 11 5/8 inch broadsheet format. The
column widths are as follows: Advertising rates per column
inch: To
compute column inches, multiple the width of the ad in columns by its depth in
inches. Example — a two column by 10 inch ad is 20 column inches.
1 column — 1 13/16 inches (11 picas)
2 columns — 3 1/4 inches (22.5 picas)
3 columns — 5 11/16 inches (34.5 picas)
4 columns — 7 11/16 inches (46.5 picas)
5 columns — 9 5/8 inches (58 picas)
6 columns — 11 5/8 inches (70 picas)
Campus groups — $3.00 per column inch
Local advertisers — $4.00 per column inch
National advertisers — $5.50 per column inch
