My Childhood Memory

"Family Travel"

My memory relates to a trip to Disney World when I was four years old. I went with my parents and two older brothers. We stayed in the "Magic Kingdom" I remember being able to go to the Character Breakfast, riding the monorail, and shopping in the gift stores. My favorite rides were "It's a Small World" and "Figment's World of Imagination." At this young age, I didn't realize how lucky I was to take such a memorable vacation.

This trip was the beginning of many travels in my childhood. My parents were able to take us on multiple wonderful trips as we grew older. I believe that this exposure to other cultures and places helped me to develop into the person that I am today. I feel that I am able to understand different cultures and people because of my parents' efforts to help me see how life is different for various people. I feel very lucky that my parents were able to provide these experiences and that we traveled as a family. It has influenced me as an adult in my personality development and favorite hobbies.
