I like to do a lot of things in my private time. One of my favorite things to do is to play with my dog.

I adopted an Australian shepherd/border collie in the summer of 2004. Her name is Abby. Abby and I are currently in obedience school. Abby has passed the basic level. She will test out of the intermediate level in the spring. If we are able to pass the advanced test, then Abby will be able to do the following:

• Perform a down/stay for an hour with me out of sight and smell

• Perform a down/stay from 100 feet

• Recall from 1000 feet.

When I am not training my dog, then I can usually be found reading.
