The IUS Placement
office:
The IUS Office of career services and placement, located in the university center between the bookstore and cafeteria, is an excellent resource for students and graduates at indiana university southeast. The services they offer can be used by a student of any class standing. Job referrals and placement are, however, reserved for students of junior, senior or alumni status.
For a small fee (ten dollars at this time) a student can:
* obtain a resume program
* get help in writing his or her resume
* Have that resume critiqued by one of the professionals at the Office
* be placed into a database that matches employers with future employees
by the criteria both have specified
* be referred to and then placed in a job.
Once registered
in the database, a student or alumni can check current job listings through
the office by visiting the placement office at:
IUS Office of Career Services
UC 008
New Albany, IN 47150
(812) 941-2275
Again, they are
located in the University Center between the bookstore and cafeteria.
In the near future, you will also be able to check job listings on-line
from your home or computer classroom. Jobs range from temporary and
part-time to internships to full-time career opportunities.
