C: Hard drive -   A hard drive is like the file cabinets for your desktop.  You can store programs or program data on the hard drive, or you go to your hard drive to call up programs or files you want to use.
   When you buy a new game, most likely you will install (store it) on your hard drive.
   These are also sold in MB (Megabytes).  Since it like a file cabinet it can store a great deal of information.  They 80MB, 350MB, 850MB, or 1 GB (gigabit).  1 GB is a 1000-megabyte or 1.2 GB is 1200 Megabytes.  The higher the number the better.

D:  CD – ROM (Read Only Memory) – Could also be a DVD (Digital Video Display) or a CDRW- A CD Burner to make CDs 700 meg

E:  Zip Drives – about 100 or 250 megs

Network Drives are drives that are on other computer on the system.
