 - arrow  It can choose commands or buttons –Some times a

 little white box will appear next to the arrow telling you what the object you are pointing to does.

 

I – An I beam.  It has several purposes. 

*           Tells where text can be used or copied.

*           Click > moves the insertion point or puts the insertion point were you want to type.

*           Double Click > selects one word

*           Triple click> selects a paragraph.

 

6 - WAIT.  And this means wait the more you click the button

the slower the machine will go. When on your browser is trying to load, it will also have an icon in the upper right hand corner moving.

 

An insertion point is usually at the top of the screen or will appear in fields that you can copy or type information. It is the point where anything will and can be inserted.

 

G -  This is used on the Internet to show is a connection or link

between two pages. If you look in the status bar it will show the address of where you are going next.

 

Double headed Arrows means you can resize the object that is selected.  Can be used to change the size of your windows or objects when in other programs.

 

 

 


-Moves objects or bars in other program.  Not used in the

Internet

 

 

 


         - Cross hairs – draws graphics
