·        Do not expose them to extreme heat or cold (above 125 degrees or below 50 degrees Fahrenheit).

·        Keep disk away from magnetic fields, such as telephone, calculators, credit cards, or microwaves.

·        Do not smoke in the area where you are using disk

·        Avoid spilling food or drinks on your disk.

·        Always store disks in a safe place such as a disk holder, when not in use.  Do not store in Leather wallets or wallets or purse in general unless in a disk holder.

·        Always label your disk to help you organize your files or prevent accidental erasure of information.  You could use the write protect to keep that from happening.  The disk can read the file, but not write over it.

·        Do not touch the exposed area of disk

·        Do not use disk when metal piece has been damaged.  Remove the metal piece before putting into the machine.  Then transfer information to new disk and discard old disk.
