                Significant experience as a classroom teacher, Kindergarten through Twelfth, particularly as a long-term substitute teacher. Developed lesson plans and evaluation systems and worked cooperatively as a team member. Trained in providing media services in support of teaching goals. ORGANIZATIONS

                Perry County Junior Women: Held the positions of President, Vice President, and Treasurer, served as chairwoman of many of their projects, such as Photographer, Library Story Hour, and Safety Town programs. Assisted with most of their other projects. Awarded the PCJW Outstanding New Member, 1998, and PCJW Key Woman, 1999, 2003 and 2005. Received the community Outstanding Young Woman, 2000 award.

                Perry County Arts Council:  Assisted in many of their activities, such as Madrigal Dinner, numerous plays and reader’s theatres, organized a quilt workshop, presented a quilt show and helped in the early renovations of the Franklin School building.

                St. Paul Church: Serve on the funeral meal committee, served as craft teacher in the Ecumenical Bible School for four years and as teacher for one year. Also have served as photographer of Bible school two years. Have served as office volunteer.

                Junior Achievement: Taught eight classes of Junior Achievement over the last five years.

                Ohio River Sweep: Have been a participant for eight years.

                Relay for Life: Have been a participant for five years.

                Schweizer Fest Musical: Have served in the technical crew for nine years.

                National Family Opinion: Have been a member for ten years.

                Boy Scouts of America: Served as Activities Assistant for nine years.
