Welcome to New Student Programs

If you were recently admitted for the spring semester beginning in January 2009, congratulations! You’re ready for the next step toward academic success at IU Southeast.

First-year students, your first step is to register for Orientation. Orientation includes campus tours, an introduction to academic majors, out-of-classroom involvement opportunities, support services, and campus resources. Parents are welcome to attend with their student.  Orientation is mandatory, so make plans to attend the next session on Tuesday, January 6 (6PM-8:30PM) in the University Center’s Hoosier Room.

Online registration for the January 6 orientation has closed. Please call the office of Campus Life at (812) 941-2316 to reserve your space.  Once you’ve registered for Orientation, follow these helpful ‘Next Steps (PDF)’ to register for classes.

Transfer students, you’re also invited to attend Orientation. Please call the office of Campus Life at (812) 941-2316 to reserve your space.
