My name is Brach McRae and I can't think of much to say about myself at the moment.  I'll come back to this later. I live in Jeffersonville, IN (Louisville metro) and I'm 24 years old.  I will graduate college in about 15 months with two degrees... Elementary Education and General Studies with a minor in Religion.  I figured since I have about a million credits now, I might as well get two degrees.  I'll probably be poor my whole life considering I will be a teacher and comedian until the day I die.  I'm alright with it though, I don't need a lot of material things to keep me happy.  I just want to be an inspiration to children and make people laugh. For the past few years, I've been doing standup comedy in front of crowds at clubs all over the Midwest.  Thousands of people have seen my act, and everyone of them will tell you something different about how they felt watching me.  Most of the females will describe a feeling of intense sexual attraction. Most of the males will say the same thing; even the heterosexual ones.  I try to bring something different to the stage that you've never seen.  I maintain a high level of charisma while staying calm and collected.  Jumping around the stage and yelling obscene words isn't my style.  My act is pretty clean, but I don't insult your intelligence by refraining from topics that may offend you.  I may offend you, but I will never be hateful.  My show is full of positive vibes.  When you leave my show, you feel like you just left one of those great church sermons... not the kind that make you feel like you're going to Hell for having premarital sex, but the kind that make you feel good to be alive. The most important thing in the world for a comedian is a fanbase.  Without people to come to your shows, you're nothing.  I have friends and family that come out to my shows and support me even though they know they're going to hear the same jokes over and over again.  These people even forward YouTube videos of me to their friends and co-workers.  I appreciate these people to no end.  I would like to expand this fanbase by having you join it.  Send me an e-mail and I'll put you on my mailing list... brach@brachmcrae.com I'll be making a short DVD sometime this year that will be available on my website and at my shows.  It will be very reasonably priced with a very high production value.  My goal is to record a comedy album before graduating from college.  By Summer 2010, you'll see my face at your local record store and on iTunes. -Brach :) (Updated 01.15.2008)
