Procedures
- Students will use their writer’s
notebooks to narrow their topic for their personal narratives (review of
prior lesson)
- Students will identify their topic for
their personal narrative piece and create a 5-column chart in their
writer’s notebook labeled with the five senses (hear, taste, touch, smell,
see)
- Students will brainstorm memories
about their topic using their senses and record them on their 5-colum
chart
- After brainstorming 10 or so memories
on their sensory chart, students will use their sensory chart to start
drafting their personal narrative
