Santa Claus brought this magnificent doll to my house in the 1987, when it was truly getting popular. I was so excited because it was like having a sister and not a pain in the butt little brother. Cricket was able to talk, blink her eyes, and read stories to you. Cricket was a friend to me when all others were out doing other things.

Cricket was the best doll ever and if it wasn't for her my "doll" life would have been boring. This was the best talking doll ever!!! Cricket was in my life in the 80's and was the good for me to even learn. In 1987 I would have been in second grade so reading and listening was definitely a key to succeeding in the second grade.

I'm glad my parent's were able to afford cricket for me to have. I know it was expensive to get during that Christmas, but they worked with what they had and believe it or not I actually have a memory and pictures (somewhere) of it.

Cricket, is cleaned and looks nice, can actually be worth nearly $150.00. Cricket is worth everything to me and I would hate to ever give her up!! The aboe links will take you to more information about the 1987 doll and the second link will show a commercial from the doll, using youtube.
