Mrs. DeGrasse's Place

We will be reading the story The Seasons of Arnold's Apple Tree by Gail Gibbons. Our main project this week will be based on this book.

Each day this week we will be discussing a different season. We will talk about the characteristics of that season: what it looks like, what activities are going on, what animals are around, what we like about that season...

 We will then discuss what an apple tree would look like during that season.

Each day that we talk about a season, the children will write and illustrate a page about that season. By the end of the week each child will have a book with the title  "The Season's of __________'s Apple Tree".
