Please contact me if you have any trouble doing this or if you have any questions about your grade. I should have solutions to the test posted by tomorrow afternoon. Monday, September 21: Here are lecture notes for section 4.1. Here is homework for section 4.1. Wednesday, September 16: Here's a study guide for the test this coming Wednesday. Tuesday, September 15: I've updated the course schedule. I will collect the homework (assignment 3) that was supposed to be due tomorrow on Monday (September 21). I've updated the lecture notes that are now for tomorrow, but all I changed was the date, so if you've already printed them, you needn't print them again. But I've revised the homework because we won't cover 4.1 this week. (It will still be due Wednesday of this coming week.) Monday, September 14: I will update the course schedule as soon as I can, after campus reopens. (We will cover today's material on Wednesday. But if you would like work on your linear algebra today, here are the lecture notes that were meant for today, and here is the homework assignment I meant to be for this week. Of course, the dates on these, including the due date for the homework, will have to be changed.) Wednesday, September 9: Here are solutions for the first homework assignment. Tuesday, September 8: Here is a little introduction to the linear algebra software "Octave." I'll mention this in class tomorrow. Monday, September 7: Here are lecture notes for sections 2.2 and 2.3. Here is homework for this week. Tuesday, September 1: Here are lecture notes for section 2.1. Monday, August 31: Here is the homework for week 2. Saturday, August 29: Here are lecture notes for sections 1.4 and 1.5. Wednesday, August 26: I've revised the homework (so all of the problems from the book are ones with answers), and I've corrected the notes for 1.3. (Same links as below.) Tuesday, August 25: Here are lecture notes for tomorrow, section 1.3. Monday, August 24: I've corrected the homework for the first week (same link below). Sunday, August 23: Here are lecture notes for section 1.1-1.2, and homework for the first week. Wednesday, August 12: I've posted a schedule for the semester (see the link on the left). Please regard this (and the syllabus) as a rough draft! Please let me know if you spot any typos or errors, or if you have any questions. Monday, August 10: I will post daily course updates here. I've posted a syllabus for the course but this is still tentative. I'll activate the link for the course schedule soon. |
