…I am a former Wisconsinite and lover of the power of cheese!

I am currently a junior here at Indiana University Southeast and I am looking forward to graduating in May of 2008. I am a Communication major with a minor in Writing. After I graduate from this lovely establishment, I fully plan on going to U of L to get my Masters in Speech Pathology. I know God has a plan for me and I am meant to help people. So, by being a speech pathologist, I will either be working with elementary school children with speech impediments or in a local hospital with stroke victims and I will design therapies to help them regain their ability to talk.

I moved here about a year and a half ago after completing a year of college at the University of Wisconsin-Baraboo/Sauk County. Believe it or not this school was smaller then most high schools. It was completely a computer school and had three buildings. I hated it so much I wasn’t going to go back after my first year and did really poorly while I was there, which led me to move to Pekin, IN. I moved to Pekin, because I live with my grandmother. She is getting to the age where she needs someone to live with her and I needed to get away from my hometown.

I am a true believer in God and that he has a plan for me. I go to the Pekin United Methodist Church and I teach Sunday School to Preschoolers. Everything happens for a reason even if that reason is unclear at the time.
