N341 Recording Instructions

Overview 

See Chapter 8 for the organization of paper prototype testing.

The following provides instructions for recording the test using video equipment at IUS.

Location

LF105 Machine 00 in front (the instructor station).

Time

Normal building opening times.

• Logitech Quick Cam
  1. On the computer desktop, open the Logitech Webcam icon: .
  2. Click the Quick Capture icon:
  3. Select Video and click the camera to record:
      
  4. Record your video.
  5. Replay your video.
  6. Go to file, remember where the video file is located.
  7. Upload the file to your N341 OnCourse DropBox.
      
• Prototyping
  1. hold the camera in your hand.
  2. place your opening page on the desk,
  3. set the user in front of the desk and opening page,
  4. remember to talk.
