Predefined Cases - Use File | Open

• Case1 - Linear equation and sine wave initial conditions.
• Case2 - Linear equation and two sine wave initial conditions.
• Case3 - Linear equation and Gaussian initial conditions.
• Case4 - Linear equation and different Gaussian initial conditions.
• Case5 - Linear equation with dispersion and two sine wave initial conditions.
• Case6 - Linear equation with non-linear term and Gaussian initial conditions.
• Case7 - Sine Gordon equation and and two Sine Gordon initial conditions.

New Cases - Use File | Save

New cases can be easily created using the appletviewer progam supplied with the Java Development Kit.
In Windows 95/98/NT the steps are:
1. Change to Wave Equation Workbench directory.
2. appletviewer Soliton.htm
3. Add an equation and initial condition.
4. Adjust parameter settings.
5. File | Save.
