Species of tree native to the Flanaess. Slender until after many decades, the average height is forty feet, with branches growing at a forty-five degree angle from the trunk. Bronzewood trees have hard, reddish-brown bark, and narrow, toothy leaves from eight to ten inches long. The wood is heavy and hard, and can only be worked by craftsmen of great skill.  If carefully seasoned and specially dried, the outer part wil become as hard as metal, though the wood retains its normal weight.

Originally fourteen Knight Protectors of the Great Kingdom created by the power of the demon prince Demogorgon. (Saint) Kargoth was the first and greatest. Kargoth's treachery brought the others into being. The fourteen original death knights of Oerth are: Saint Kargoth, Lord Monduiz Dephaar, Lady Lorana Kath of Naelex, Prince Myrhal of Rax, Sir Maeril of Naelax, Sir Farian of Lirtham (destroyed 209 CY, but soul now powers the deathblade Astrosus), Lord Andromansis of Garasteth, Sir Oslan Knarren, Sir Rezinar of Haxx, Lord Thyrian of Naelax, Sir Minar Syrric of Darmen, Duke Urkar Grasz of Torquann, Sir Luren the Boar of Torquann, and Lord Khayven of Rax. Another known death knight is Sir Loran of Trollpyre Keep in Sunndi, who bears no connection to the original fourteen. It is suspected that Demogorgon or other deities have created other death knights.

Species of hardwood tree native to the Flanaess. Deklo trees are often fifteen feet in diameter and over 100 feet tall. Their thick, strong branches grow almost parallel to the ground, and their nearly-round leaves grow in thick clumps. Mature deklos have leaves over a foot in diameter. Deklo trees tend to grow in groves, excluding other forms of vegetation.

Cloudy, brownish, herbal remedy native to Diamond Lake, Cairn Hills. Made from local vegetation, salts from the mines, and water from Diamond Lake, this concoction can help cure ability score damage, but the used is sicked for 24 hours after consuming the elixer. Most readily available in Diamond Lake from the local Church of Saint Cuthbert, the Bronzewood Lodge, the wizard Allustan, or the madam Purple Prose at the Midnight Salute.

Species of fruit-bearing tree native to the Flanaess. Galda trees are about thirty feet tall, with yellowish bark and yellow-green leaves. The tree produces whitish, cone-shaped fruit in early spring, which develops golden streaks upon ripening in early summer. Galda fruit is somewhat salty and astringent, yet refreashing and nutritious, as its multiple seeds are rich in protein.
