You may use a calculator for most tests
and quizzes. A TI-86
calculator is required.
Classroom Etiquette: Please be respectful and courteous to your classmates and instructor. Pleases do not arrive
late, leave early or leave for a period of time other than for an emergency. No cell phones or pagers are to be on.
Make Up Policy – There will be NO make-ups for quizzes or homework. Make ups for chapter tests will be
given if there is a legitimate excuse with documentation.

ONCOURSE: My goal is for all test grades to be posted within one day after the test. At that time all homework and quiz averages will be updated
GOALS: To become proficient with the T-I86 graphing calculator using it to perform basic computations as well as graphing various equations. To learn how to model, graph, transform and solve various functions - linear, quadratic, absolute value, rational, inverse, exponential, and logarithmic. To explore complex numbers and begin to discover basic calculus principles relating to maximizing and minimizing quadratics.
If
you fail the final exam (less than 60%), the maximum course grade possible is a
“C”.
