Current Classes:

Research Interests:

My primary research interests are in the field of bond structures in semiconductors.

I have conducted extensive studies - using ENDOR techniques - on CdTe:Mn crystals.

ENDOR, or Electron Nuclear Double Resonance, utilizes the sensitivity of nuclear

magnetic resonance, while observing the effects on electron spin resonance signals.

Our group at Purdue University has carried out the first measurements of hyperfine

interaction constants for CdTe:Mn  analyzing the bonds of the first six shells. Previously,

only ESR studies had been conducted.

NEWS FLASH:

As of Jan. 23, 2006: This week, we are completing electrical and cooling water hookups for our complete ENDOR lab on the IUS campus. The equipment was formerly used by Dr. Mieher at Purdue University. I expect the lab to be up and running by March.
