Follow up activity: After a discussion about fire safety rules,
students will participate in a variety of hands-on activities to re-inforce the lesson.
They will practice dialing “911” on a telephone and practice stop, drop,
and roll. They can also practice
crawling low to the ground and feeling for the door the correct way. This can be done as centers in the classroom
or as rotations with other teachers.
