Short Description- Students have been studying weather. This will allow them to gather all of their data into a spread sheet and analyze it in various ways.

Steps of lessons: 1. In groups of 5, students take daily measurements of wind speed and direction, temperature, and barometric pressure.
2. Starting on day two, they make predictions based on previous data before they take their measurements.
3. After completing 5 days of measurements, the students create a spreadsheet of the document.
4. This spreadsheet will include all measurements and the students will graph all measurements, except the wind direction, in a bar graph.
5. Students will present their Excel Documents to the whole class.

Follow-up questions: 1. What did you learn from this activity? 2. What was the best part? Why? 3. What was the worst part? Why? 4. How can you predict the weather for the next few days? 5. How do you check your predictions? 6. How do you put in a formula on a spread sheet? 7. How do you put in a chart on an excel document? 8. How do meteorologists predict weather?
