Calculator awkward at first - but very useful when large amounts of data

A few comments from previous students:
         I would not want to take this class without the TI83.  It took me a while to get used to it and all its functions, but now I am very comfortable using it.
        Problems tend to get repetitious so it is just really convenient to use technology after you learn how to do the problems by hand.
        I liked using the TI83.  At first I was really frustrated, but once I stuck with it, I now enjoy it.  It cuts down on a lot of work.  I hate doing long math problems by hand.  I would rather punch it in and let the calculator do the work.
        My favorite thing about this calculator is that on some problems, I can actually check to see if the answers on my homework are right.  This has been very beneficial to me.
        This class has created an intense bond between my TI83 calculator and me.  I no longer leave my calculator in my backpack.  "He" stays in my purse.  I have learned so many fundamentals from this class & my calculator is always there to check my answers & let me know when I've made an error.  Using this calculator has lessened my fear of computers and I have even enrolled in a Computer class for the spring semester.
