graphs Data Displays

Charts and graphs are another means of conveying information in a clear, concise, and visual means.  Charts and graphs can be used at any grade level or within any subject area.  We will look at how charts and graphs can be used in the classroom and how Microsoft Excel can be used to create these.

Your assignment is to create a series of charts or graphs using Microsoft Excel that are specific to your grade level or subject area.  You will also write up a brief explanation in Oncourse as to how you could use the charts or graphs in your classroom.

Use the data displays rubric as a guide for this assignment and to ensure it is correctly submitted for assessment purposes.

We will use class time to actually work on creating our charts or graphs, so no examples will be given here.
