I was born, many years ago, in Racine, Wisconsin. I then moved to Wauwatosa, Wisconsin and lived there until it was time to go away to school. I began attending the Universtiy of Wisconsin-LaCrosse, I began my studies in education there, but was unhappy with how long it took me to get into the good stuff. At that time I transferred to the University of Wisconsin - Oshkosh. After graduation in January of 1992, I got married and moved to Marinette, Wisconsin. I began substitute teaching in the Marinette school district, beginning my teaching career. I decided that it was time to start a family and had two children within the next fourteen and a half months. After Megan and TJ were in pre-school, I decided to return to teaching, and began teaching middle school in Peshtigo, Wisconsin. I taught there for three years and then took a leap of faith. I then moved to Kentucky to continue my teaching career. I began teaching at Holy Spirit School in Louisville, I stayed there for two years and then moved to Kammerer Middle School, where I am currently teaching 7th grade science. My family has grown since I got here. I have remarried and not only have my two children, I have two step-children, the same age as Megan and TJ. Life has been good to me the past five years in Kentucky, I sure am glad I took that leap of faith.
