Programming Project:
Teams of Exactly Two (2) People; No more, no less. NO ONE-PERSON TEAMS!!! If there is an odd number of students, ONE three-person team may be permitted. Do not plan on working in a group of 3.
Write a short program in the language of your choice using the compiler of your choice that proves one or more “interesting” concepts that have been covered this semester, or will be covered this semester. You should be creative in your topic choice. Your instructor will not provide examples of “interesting” concepts, but he will help you refine your topic once you and your partner have selected it. Be creative!!
This project is due on the second-to-last day of class, 05 Aug 2010. You are expected to BOTH copiously comment and document your program. Your project should be a written report that includes an introduction, some background, your code and documentation, and your conclusions.
Your instructor is fluent in Java, C/C++, Assembly, Pascal, Fortran, and Basic. Your instructor is familiar with DOS, Windows, and UNIX operating systems/environments. You do not have to choose any of these languages/OSes, but I’m probably going to be better able to help you with your code if you do select something I already know.
Please contact your instructor if you have any questions!
This project is worth 10% of the final grade.
