Applications Project:

 

Teams of Exactly Two (2) People; No more, no less. If there is an odd number of people in the class, ONE three-person group will be approved. Do not plan on working in a group of 3!

 

Prepare a 3-5 minute presentation on any topic of your choosing that pertains to this class. The topic can be about something that has been discussed, something that has been mentioned in passing, or something that will be discussed later on in the semester. Please do not “regurgitate” material that has already been presented! All topics must be approved by the instructor by no later than 7 July, 2011. Also, no two teams may work on the same topic so precedence will be given to the team that requests the topic first. Additionally, you are to prepare a 5-7 page written report (not all text, not all pictures) about your topic. Both team members must participate in each part of the assignment with as equal a distribution of both the oral and written part of the work as possible.

 

The overhead projector will be available for you to use PowerPoint (required). About 4 slides of medium density can be covered in 3-5 minutes. You may use other suitable means of presentation as well.
