C121 Elementary Chemistry Test Policy

Test information

There are three tests given during the semester. Tests are written by the lab instructor and cover the 3 or 4 weeks of labs immediately before the test. A study guide for each test is provided during the lab, one week before the scheduled test date.


Each test is worth 50 points, with a total of 150 test points possible for the semester.



Make-up test policy

Tests are to be taken at the scheduled time and day unless the student has an unavoidable reason for missing the test.


You must notify the instructor within two days of the absence if you must miss the test. Call my voice mail number or send me an email. A message can be left with the Division of Natural Sciences at 941-2284 if the instructor cannot be reached, but I prefer that you use the voice mail or email.


Make-up tests must be taken, by appointment with the instructor, within one week of the originally scheduled test date.


For each day missed, 10% of the grade will be deducted.
