Cell (S) where
the two walls from the column forms the two walls
coming down and the two walls from the row going across form four walls all
information is trapped in these four walls like a prisoner in a cell. Cells are identified by first the letter of
it column and then the number of its row.

Column (S, Columns are like
columns in a building they go up and down the spreadsheet and are identified by
letters. hb
Column width (S) Used in a spreadsheet,
resizes the width of the column so all the data in a cell can be seen. Columns’ width can be resized in two ways.

Putting your mouse between the
letters of the columns
and dragging and dropping or double clicking

To make a column an exact size you
can go to Format – Column – Width… and type in the exact size.
Date Format (S, D) allows a date to be displayed
in a different format. To format a date, select a cell, row,
or column then go to the Format menu– number – date.
Division Formula
(S) Formulas must start
with and equal sign and use cells that will be used in the division
problem. Example - =F1/D1 or =C2/1000.
Fill (S) Fills can automatically continue a series of numbers, number/text combinations, dates, or time periods based on a pattern you establish.
Fill Down (S) Fill Downs can automatically continue a series of numbers, number/text combinations, dates, or time periods based on a pattern you establish.

Formula (S) Formulas ALWAYS
starts with anequal sign followed by the cells
and includes some order of operations - +, -, *, or / or function. Examples of formulas:

Legend
(S) Legend
is a part of chart or graph. It is a box
that identifies the patterns or colors that are assigned to the data series or
categories in a chart. 
Rows (S) like
rows in theater - information in be put in the first
row, second row, etc. Rows are
identified by numbers.

Select (Excel) (S) You can quickly select a series of cells by
clicking on the first cell, then scrolling to the last cell, holding down the shift key and click on the last
cell. All cells between the first
selected cell and the last cell clicked.
Sort (Excel) (S) To
sort in a spreadsheet you must select all of the cells. If you select only the column that column
will sort and the other information will not move. After selecting all of the cells
Sort and choose what column(s)you want to sort.

Sum Calculation
(S) a formula that adds
up a series of numbers in a column or a row.

Window Menu (W, S) When more than one file is open;
you can switch between files by using the window command on the menu bar.

X axis (S) this is a part
of a chart of a bar or cluster chart. It
usually displays names or labels of what is being graphed while the Y-axis
usual shows amounts.
Y axis (S) this is a part
of a chart of a bar or cluster chart. It
usually shows amounts of what is being graphed while the X-axis usually
displays the names of labels of what is being graphed.
