Research
My research interests revolve around carnivorous plants and triggerplants, and most of the species used in my lab come from Australia. We have three basic projects:
1) Development and ecology of aquatic carnivorous plants (bladderworts and waterwheel plants; Utricularia, Lentibulariaceae, and Aldrovanda, Droseraceae, respectively).
2) Developmental biology of tuberous and pygmy sundews (Drosera spp.; Droseraceae).
3) Carnivory in triggerplants (Stylidium spp., Stylidiaceae
