Applying to IUS

IUS offers numerous two-year AS degrees and four-year BS degrees.  For a complete list, go to the IUS Admissions page and click "Majors and Degrees."  It's easy to apply!  The application form may be filled out and mailed, or you can apply online.

Academic Advising

In order to fulfill the requirements to earn your chosen degree, you must manage your class schedules carefully and actively.  Our staff are available for advising and can help you meet your goals.  Contact me to schedule an appointment for academic advising at 941-2184, or email me at chdsheph@ius.edu.  Before your advising appointment, stop by the School of Natural Sciences and print out your IUCARE form from Insite.

Procedures for Graduation

In order to let us know that you are ready to receive your degree, you must fill out a brief form and submit it before you begin classes in your last semester at IUS.  We will review your schedule history and verify that you have taken all the necessary classes to earn your degree.  A robe is required to participate in commencement ceremonies and may be purchased from the bookstore before March of the graduation year.
