The homework site contains the assigned HW and/or Exercises for a given chapter. The combination of HW and Exercises count 15% of your grade. 

HW is generally given as an outside activity.  It will usually compose of multiple choice, true/false, short answer questions.  HW may occasionally be administered through the http://oncourse.iu.edu website. 

Exercises are examples given in class and/or outside class.  In-class exercises CANNOT be made up.  However, you are still responsible for the material covered. The Exercises given in class will be placed on the website for your review and understanding. Outside Exercises will compose of short BlueJ and/or Java projects that are due within a short period of time (usually by or before the next regular class meeting via email to cgranda@ius.edu) or hardcopies.
